The design of a temporary theater in Jakarta's Taman Fatahillah, integrats Bernard Tschumi's concept of narrative space with Deleuze and Guattari's machinic assemblage philosophy. The project, titled 'Our Story', weaves Jakarta's rich collective memories into its fabric, employing elements like louvre windows and communal verandahs to evoke a sense of cultural familiarity. Prefabricated light frame panels and a striking red color scheme enhance the theater's sustainability and visual impact. The pavilions, or 'story pages', are oriented to create interactive, alley-like spaces, fostering a dynamic environment where architecture, story, and community converge, transcending traditional design in a celebration of Jakarta’s vibrant urban tapestry.
